IT Leadership

Field Trips

The IT practitioners share with the class the following:

  • an overview of their respective company, how IT fits into the organization and how investments in IT are made.
  • a personal glimpse of the IT professionals career journey
  • An overview of their area of expertise i.e. business intelligence, disaster/recovery, business analysis, compliance and regulation, etc.

The Foundation works with the academic institution to structure the class to meet the needs of the academic   requirements of the school. The Foundation will assist in developing the syllabus. Once the syllabus is designed , the Foundation arranges to identify guest speakers, prepare the speakers on their role and approach to the presentation, coordinate the attendance of the speakers, moderate the sessions and provide a survey instrument to the Students.
